Max is a mechanic running away from shady delivery clients, heavy debts and a life that has become almost entirely about survival.
He doesn’t say much and looks like someone who would rather be left alone. But underneath the tough exterior is a quiet dream: gathering enough parts to build and fly his own plane.

He spends his days selling the idea of a perfect vacation, while quietly becoming exhausted by his own life. His camera gives him a way to observe the world without getting too close to it.

Found abandoned in a cardboard box on a train, Mia is already an expert at surviving on her own.
She disappears into storm drains, chases shadows, causes trouble and somehow always ends up exactly where she wants to be.
